  Mr.Madhivanan was brought up with proper guidance of his chemistry teacher regarding higher education. His yearning to stand out from his family made him pursue his higher studies in the midst of many obstacles. He victoriously stood his first generation graduate,proven that he wants to make a difference in this society. He wanted to show case to the world how education can change an individual and transform the community around. He plays a diversified role.

•Worked as Sports for Development Trainer cum Programme Officer for Ranipet Project and managed 56 CYL’s, 9 pay employees with 2020 children target achieved.

• Data Collection and Analysis on public awareness of the Domestic Violence ACT,and educating them about its usages and benefits. 

2.Public Health (Aug,2009-Nov,2009) 

•Conducted a seminar on unhygienic practices at Madras School of Social Work. Performed street play with a group of 6 participants at Railway stations,Hospitals, Schools to raise awareness about ill effects of open defecation and spitting. 

3.A Study on Problems Faced by Adolescents (Nov,2008–Apr,2009) 

• Formulated a complete Research study with Data collection and Analysis of Data. 

4.A Study on Suicide Prevention in K.V .Kuppam Block,CMC,Vellor edistrict.(May,2007) 

•Formulated a complete Research study with Datacollection and Analysis of Data.(CMC, RUSHA Department is working in K.V. Kuppam block,Most of the people committed Suicide in this area,Created awareness through research & submitted to CMC,Vellore.)

Community activities:

 

•Worked on 8 community development activities such as Blood donation camp , rural camp etc. as a part of National service scheme(NSS) team and Madras School of Social Work College(2006-08). 

• Participated in a Social Audit which was conducted by HIH organization in the Kanchipuram villages for Village Upliftment Programme (VUP)(2010) 

• Organized a community organization programme with the theme “Women’s Day Celebration at Government hr. Sec School, Idayanchattu,Vellore district.(2009). 

• Organized a Community Program on HIV/AIDS,through StreetPlay at Kotha kuppam Village.

•Participated in the five day Training of Informal Sector Facilities(TISF) programme conducted by Central Board for Workers Education,Chennai. 

•Participated in the Child Rights Sensation workshop for students of social work, organized by Center for Child Rights and Development (CCDR)held at Madras School of Social Work. 

•Participated in Focus Group Discussion– FDG for State level communication Campaign (SLCC) organized by Indian Community Welfare Organization–ICWO with the support of APAC ,VHS- USAID.
